Are you passionate about whisky and providing 5-star customer service with panache? If so, we have the opportunity for a Whisky Advisor to join our motivated team of Specialists in Whisky, Wines & Spirits at Gordon and MacPhail located in our new stunning location - The Courtyard - Johnston of Elgin.
The successful candidate will ideally have/be:
- A passion and knowledge for Scotch Whisky and the drink industry as a whole.
- Confident in approaching and building rapport with customers from around the world.
- A clear and engaging communicator with excellent sales skills.
- Inquisitive, a keen learner and happy to find the solution to any problem.
- Flexible in your approach and able to think on your feet.
- Willingness to extend and update product knowledge on a regular basis.
- A team player with high level of dedication.
- Work on own initiative and under pressure, plan own workload, meet deadlines and be self-motivated.
- Previous experience in whisky, wines and spirits, retail or hospitality is an advantage.
- Minimum 18 years of age (as under UK law, 18 is the minimum age at which you can sell or serve alcohol)
This is a permanent position working 16 hours per week (working Mondays & Saturdays). Applications must be submitted by noon on Friday 4 July 2025.
