We require a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join Baxters Food Group looking after mainly Dunkinty House plus 4 other apartments. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment in the House.
Main Accountabilities:
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops and sinks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- Making beds and changing linens
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing and mopping hard floors
- Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry
- Ironing clothing items
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops and other cleaning tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries and other supplies
- Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Tidying up room
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacement
Care of household dogs:
- Walk dogs
- Live in dog sitter when owner on holiday (very occasional if available)
Person Specification:
- Professionalism and able to work discretely with proven experience as a housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail, and able to clean and present a home to a high standard
- Good Time management and multitasking
- Reliability and trustworthiness in managing responsibilities
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a pleasant environment
- Full – clean drivers license
Full-time hours preferred but would consider part-time hours for the right candidate.
