This role is ideal for someone at the start of their creative career who wants to develop real world experience in content creation, storytelling and digital media, while contributing to meaningful work in the renewables sector.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to help bring aes renewables brand to life, capturing stories about our people, projects and customers through video, photography and written content.
It’s a varied, hands on role combining creative desk based work with time out in the field. Some days you’ll be editing, writing or shaping ideas. Other days you’ll be out capturing content wherever the story needs to be told, from customer homes and commercial projects to offices and community events.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone creative, curious and ideas led who wants to grow their skills in a supportive environment, with mentoring and clear development.
What you’ll be doing
Creating photo and video content for social media, website and marketing campaigns
Supporting the production of case studies, people stories and project features
Writing draft content including captions, blogs, interviews and website copy
Working closely with the Marketing Director to develop story ideas and creative approaches
Capturing content on location when needed, including customer sites and with the installer teams
Editing and organising content for use across multiple channels
Helping evolve our visual style and storytelling as the brand grows
Bringing ideas to the table and contributing creatively to campaigns and projects
Who this role is for
This role would suit someone who:
· Has studied (or is studying) photography, DRONES, media, creative storytelling, writing, digital content or a related subject, or has built these skills independently through personal projects
· Is creatively minded and enjoys generating ideas
· Feels comfortable talking to people and capturing human stories
· Has an interest in video, photography and written content
· Is organised, motivated and keen to learn
· Is excited by sustainability, technology and people focused storytelling
