We’re now looking for an HR Assistant / HR Advisor to help our client grow and strengthen their HR function and support their fantastic team.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be involved in everything from recruitment and staff development to contracts, appraisals, and staff wellbeing. You’ll play a key part in ensuring their people feel supported, valued, and set up for success.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include:

  • Supporting managers with people and sickness management, including return-to-work interviews.
  • Handling contracts, staff handbooks, and appraisals.
  • Coordinating recruitment: posting adverts, arranging interviews, and even hosting them.
  • Overseeing CPD requests, training bookings.
  • Helping to build and develop the HR department, introducing fresh ideas and best practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • CIPD qualified.
  • Experienced in HR, with a good grasp of UK employment law and HR processes.
  • A great communicator who enjoys building positive relationships.
  • Organised, approachable, and able to juggle a busy workload with a smile.
  • Discreet and professional when dealing with sensitive matters.
