About Tulloch of Cummingston and the role:
Tulloch of Cummingston is a family-owned house builder, developing high-quality homes in the Moray region for over 60 years. We’re known for our outstanding attention to detail, exceptional workmanship, personalised customer service, and customisable home designs. Tulloch of Cummingston are offering a Bricklaying Modern Apprenticeship, with the majority of work taking place on new-build homes and extensions across Moray. No formal qualifications are required, but you must have the willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship qualification.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with bricklaying on a variety of construction projects, including new builds and extensions
- Preparing materials, tools, and work areas
- Learning and applying correct bricklaying techniques under supervision
- Supporting skilled tradespeople on-site
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Carrying out general site duties as required
- Demonstrating steady progress in practical skills and understanding of the trade
Trial & probation period:
The successful candidate will be invited to undertake a short trial period. If successful, they will complete a probation period before beginning the four-year Bricklaying Modern Apprenticeship delivered in partnership with UHI Moray.
