Teach in Moray 2019

In collaboration with our partners in Moray Council, Moray College UHI and Aberdeen University we hosted a fantastic Teach in Moray 2019 event.  The aim of this event was to inspire people into the Teaching profession locally here in Moray.  We did this through sourcing a number of local case studies of teachers in Moray, commissioned 6 inspirational films of local teachers and finally hosted a very successful information event for those wishing to find out more about the profession.

Below you can find our films, case studies and links to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) from our Event.

For FAQs from our event on the Primary DLITE PGDE programme please see below:

Is there a PGDE secondary DLITE programme available in Moray?

This programme is advertised by Aberdeen University. It is not currently viable to run this programme in Moray as the subjects offered are shortage subjects and therefore the support required from the specialist subject staff in secondary schools is not available.

Is the primary DLITE programme running again next year from Jan 2020?

This is confirmed on an annual basis. If the course is running it will be advertised by social media, Moray Council website and Aberdeen University website.

Do I need to have an honours degree or is an ordinary degree sufficient?
Aberdeen University checks qualifications and will be able to advise if you contact them.

How much are the fees for the course?
Last year the fees were £1820. Information about fees can be found on the Aberdeen University website.
